Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission title is IN UPPERCASE LETTERS, and the subtitles, if any, are also IN UPPERCASE LETTERS.
  • The text has no more than 4 authors.
  • The submitted file DOES NOT INCLUDE AUTHOR IDENTIFICATION. Authors appear only in the system.

Author Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDELINES - FOR ALL TEXTS

Garamond 13 font for the body text.

Garamond 12 font for quotations longer than 3 lines (with a 4 cm indent).

Garamond 11 font for References.

Margins: Top and Right, 2.5 cm; Bottom and Left, 3 cm.

Justified text with a 2 cm margin (DO NOT LEAVE SPACE FOR MARGINS).

Line spacing of 1.5.

References line spacing: 1.0

Subtitles in lowercase (Garamond 14, bold)

Subitem, if any, in lowercase (Garamond 14, italic)

Graphs, images, tables, etc., should contain: Title in bold, centered above the element (Garamond 12) and source indication centered below the element (Garamond 11). Ex: Source: Author's own elaboration.

Quotations longer than 3 lines should be in Garamond 12, single spacing, indented 4 cm. (NO SPACE BEFORE OR AFTER THE QUOTATION)

Citations should follow the AUTHOR-DATE pattern in the body of the text (Ex: CERRI, 2011. p.10) and in indented citations.

References should be at the end of the text and should follow ABNT standards (Examples below).

DO NOT INCLUDE IN THE FINAL REFERENCES WORKS NOT CITED IN THE TEXT.

DO NOT LEAVE SPACES BETWEEN REFERENCES.

Must have between 12 and 30 pages.

Centered title IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

Below, title IN ENGLISH.

Abstract of at least 100 words and at most 250 words.

Below the abstract, three keywords (SEPARATED BY A PERIOD).

Photos MUST NOT CONTAIN IMAGES OF MINORS, unless with WRITTEN authorization from their guardians (authorization must be attached to the submission).

PRACTICE REPORT

Follow the general formatting guidelines.

Must have a maximum of 4 authors.

It should be between 8 and 12 pages long.

Centered title in CAPITAL LETTERS.

Abstract of at least 100 words and at most 250 words.

Below the abstract, three keywords (SEPARATED BY A PERIOD).

Photos MUST NOT CONTAIN IMAGES OF MINORS, unless with WRITTEN authorization from their guardians (authorization must be attached to the submission).

OPEN SECTION

This section can include texts of various types:

Letters

Poems

Songs

Essays

etc...

The requirement is that it be related to the universe of Basic Education.

The submission must be original and unpublished.

Students from Basic Education and higher education can submit.
